We are a self-defining space with 24hr access for women in Prince George. We aim to to house information on women’s issues as a service to the whole community and to educate, particularly through free training programs, talks, workshops , and special events

We maintain a library and resource files that are accessible to all women, mark commemorative events, hold awareness-raising campaigns, hold educational events, mentor practicum students and summer students, train volunteers, fundraise, and MUCH more!!

24/7 Safe Space.
The Northern Women’s Centre is a 24/7 safe space for all self-identifying women. We have couches, desks, and chairs at the centre for your connivence to use.

Resources and help.
We provide information and referrals depending on your needs. Our priority is making sure that you receive the support you need. You can come to the centre, or feel free to drop us an email as well.

Awareness Campaigns.
An essential part of the Northern Women’s Centre is spreading awareness about issues affecting women. We believe that the best way to tackle ignorance, is by educating!

Coffee + tea + snacks.
Arguably the best part- the food! We have cutlery at the centre as well as a kettle and a microwave for your convenience. Come in and make a cup of hot coffee to warm up your day!
